Une équipe de la Brigade de Recherche et d’Intervention, lors d’un service d’embuscade dans la zone de koubri, a mis la main sur des contrebandiers de motos lourdement chargées de produits prohibés. La saisie opérée se présente comme suit :- 62 cartons de médicaments contrefaisants composés de Tramadol et de Tramaking, d’un poids de 768 kg- 13 cartons de cigarettes de marque SIR soit 130 000 bâtonnets- 12 cartons de cigarettes de marque GOLD SEAL soit 120 000 bâtonnets- 03 motos de marque APSONIC- 02 motos de marque SANYA – 01 moto de marque BAN-GRE La valeur totale des marchandises de fraude saisies s’élève à environ cent dix millions (110 000 000) francs CFA.
Le Directeur Général des Douanes salue cette saisie et félicite toute l’équipe de la BRI. L’Administration des douanes réaffirme sa détermination à combattre les trafics illicites par le bouclage des couloirs et réseaux sur toute l’étendue du territoire douanier et invite les populations à maintenir et renforcer leur précieuse collaboration avec la Douane engagée dans cette croisade.
